Mtarfa Baden Powell Scouts

Mtarfa Baden Powell Scouts was set-up on the 4th July, 2011. Since then the Scout Group has evolved into four sections, senior scouts, troop scouts, wolf cubs and beaver scouts. Mtarfa Baden Powell Scouts prides itself with helping others at all times. The Mtarfa Baden Powell Scouts form part of the Scout Federation – Baden Powell Scouts Malta, a registered NGO.

Meaning of the Scarf Colors

The Scarf worn proudly by Mtarfa Baden Powell Scouts bears the coat of arms of the Town of Mtarfa.

The scarf bears the same colors as those which are sued on the Town’s Coat of Arms. Mtarfa stands on top of a hill surrounded by fields. The renowned architect Richard England designed the coat of arms for Mtarfa. The blue reflects the blue sky, the tower represents the presence of the military which played an important in the founding of Mtarfa, and the green at the bottom represents the green fields which are found all around the hill especially in the winter season.
